About the pattern
The bonnet is knitted from the back of the head and forward, first in the round on double pointed needles, then back and forth on the needle. The pattern starts out with only 6 stitches, and increases whilst knitting the chart. Along the neck there is knitted a ribbed border, and around the face there is knitted an i-cord bind off with i-cord straps.
